This means that your data is safe with us and that we always use it properly. In this privacy statement we explain what we do at the MagaTel.fr webshop with your information.

Order processing
When you place an order with us, we use your personal data to process it efficiently. We may then give your personal data to our delivery service to have the order delivered to you. We also receive information about your payment from your bank or credit card company.

For this we use:

- name, address, town;
- phone number;
- billing address;
- payment details;
- e-mail address;
- IP address.

We need this information because of the contract we conclude with you. We retain this information for two years after your order is completed and for seven years thereafter (that is the legal retention requirement).

Contact Form and Newsletter

You can use the contact form to ask us questions or submit requests.

For this we use:

- e-mail address;
- IP address;
- first name and last name.

We do this with your permission. We keep this information until we are sure that you are satisfied with our response. We then keep your data for up to seven years, after which time your data will be deleted or destroyed. This period is based on the legal retention requirement.

You can subscribe to our newsletter, which provides you with news, tips and information about our products and services. You can cancel this subscription at any time. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link.

Your email address will only be added to the subscriber list with your permission. These data will be kept for at the latest three months after you have cancelled your subscription.

Statistics and profiling

We keep statistics on how our webshop is used. We used these statistics to improve our webshop and display only relevant information. We may combine your personal information to find out more about you. Of course we will respect your privacy at all times. If you do not want us to do this, you can inform us at any time.

For this we use your IP address. We have a legitimate interest in this. Our business partners, Google Analytics, Visual Website Optimizer, Bing Ads, Outbrain and Facebook store this information.

Where your data are stored

We store your data in different databases. Your data are almost always stored within the European Union. Only the flow of data relating to the sending of our newsletters goes via the United States of America, via Mailchimp. This party is registered under Privacy Shield, which offers sufficient protection.

Our webshop uses cookies. Cookies are small files used to store information so that you do not always have to fill it in. They also enable us to see that you are visiting us again.
